Real-Time Temperature Monitor For IT & Facilities Environment Monitoring
AVTECH's TemPageR 3E/ER is designed specifically to assist with monitoring IT facility temperature in 1-3 different locations up to 100' away. Once plugged into the network, the TemPageR 3E package allows users to log temperature sensor status for immediate alert notification, historical review and graphing. Alert notifications via Email, Email-to-SMS, SNMP and more communicate to devices like computers, mobile phones, iPhones, BlackBerrys, pagers and PDAs. TemPageR 3E offers an easy to use web browser interface for settings changes and viewing real-time sensor status from anywhere.
TemPageR 3E monitors environments like small phone or wiring closets, critical rack cabinets and larger computer rooms or data centers. Since TemPageR 3E is connected via Ethernet and does not require a host PC for operation, it can be located anywhere an Ethernet connection is available. Sensors can be run inside a rack cabinet, air vent, sub floor or other location. TemPageR 3E will help to protect valuable IT & facility equipment and minimize downtime if a disaster does occur.
In addition to TemPageR's built-in web browser interface, each monitor includes two powerful software applications from AVTECH known as Device ManageR and PageR Enterprise (PageR). These two applications are bundled with the hardware at no additional cost (i.e. FREE with each monitor purchase), adding important benefits above and beyond any similar competitive product.
Device ManageR is designed as an all-in-one tool for the discovery, monitoring and management of AVTECH's environment monitors. It runs as a Windows Service on a PC for security and will provide advanced monitoring, logging and graphing capabilities through a simple and easy to use web browser interface. It allows instant network discovery of monitors, easy set up, automatic notification of firmware updates, one click firmware updates, multi-unit or group set up, sensor data logging and graphing. Sensor data can be compared and graphed side by side, instantly exported to Excel and updated in real-time.
PageR allows monitoring of any server, device or event network-wide and the license bundled with TemPageR allows monitoring of any Windows or Novell system. PageR allows advanced alerting features like unlimited alerting at multiple thresholds for rising and/or falling temperatures to provide early warnings, notification to different people at different thresholds or for different sensors. Users can set up notification hierarchies, blackout periods, monitoring schedules and alert by all modern technologies. Alerts can be sent to individuals, groups, hierarchies, mobile phones, iPhones, BlackBerrys, pagers, PDAs, email, computers, web pages & more. Alert messages are fully customizable and can use 'key words' for real-time sensor values, dates, times and other 'live' information. Automatic corrective actions can be easily enabled to start backups, shut down systems or run any command, script, or task.
